Deep Cleaner
Reports To:
Assistant General Manager (AGM) and General Manager (GM)
Position Summary
The Deep Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel by performing scheduled deep cleaning of guest rooms and all public areas. This position works independently with minimal supervision and follows established brand standards, company policies, and scheduled cleaning programs to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled deep cleaning of guest rooms, including bathrooms, furniture, walls, baseboards, windows, fixtures, vents, carpets, and hard surface flooring.
- Complete deep cleaning of public areas, including:
- Hallways
- Stairwells
- Breakfast area
- Lobby
- Fitness center
- Pool area
- Hotel entrances and exterior entryways
- Public restrooms
- Follow the property's deep cleaning schedule to ensure all assigned areas are maintained according to brand and company standards.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces using approved chemicals and cleaning procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damaged furnishings, or equipment concerns to management promptly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked and used safely.
- Follow all OSHA, hotel safety, and chemical handling procedures.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by the AGM or GM.
- Support housekeeping operations during periods of high occupancy when needed.
- Maintain professionalism and provide courteous service when interacting with guests.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments efficiently.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
Work Schedule
- Flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Hours may vary based on occupancy and operational demands.

Pay: $13.75 - $14.50 per hour
