Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process linens and textiles efficiently.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading push carts, and managing heavy lifting tasks safely.
• Follow strict sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for both staff and guests.
• Use laundry detergents and cleaning agents responsibly while adhering to safety standards in production.
• Manage materials handling by organizing clean linens and textiles for distribution throughout the hotel.
• Perform routine inspections of laundry equipment to maintain optimal operation and prevent malfunctions.
• Assist with customer service by responding promptly to requests for special laundry services or garment care needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or industrial laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, textile cleaning processes, including dry cleaning when applicable.
• Familiarity with garment care machine operation such as washers, dryers, and textile cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to safety protocol adherence to prevent accidents or injuries during operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest satisfaction.
