Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and support various kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing recommendations and answering any questions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including cooking appliances as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in catering events or special requests as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, including roles such as host/host, server, or barista.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
- Culinary skills, including knife skills and meat cutting experience, are advantageous.
