Hiring a Full-Time Certified Professional Coder for Urology Clinic
Remote Position
Job Description: Determine correct codes to be assigned and sequenced appropriately for Urological procedures as per government and insurance regulations. Follows medical coding guidelines and policies, clarifying any information that is not clear in the medical record. Provides education to the MD/APP on the latest code changes. Keep current on all payer requirements. Work denied claims due to error or insurance to prepare for resubmission. Work primarily to code and enter charges for Advanced Urology.
Qualifications:
- Certified as a CPC through the AAPC
- At least 3 years as a Urology coder is required
- Pediatric & Orthopedic experience is a plus, as well as understanding denials and revenue cycle
