Qualifications:
Education: Completion of Medical Secretary Program preferred. Will consider
candidate with high school diploma if there is sufficient relevant experience.
Experience: Comprehension of Medical Terminology is necessary as well as
experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Meditech. Excellent
customer service.
Responsible for adhering to Columbia Memorial Hospital s Patient Safety
Behaviors by practicing it error prevention tools and including but not limited
to all policies, procedures and processes related to the Patient Safety
Program.
Summary:
Supports the mission and goals Columbia Memorial Hospital and the Laboratory
Department of Pathology. Provides a broad based knowledge of Pathology and
related duties. The individual must possess knowledge of complex medical
terminology and must be detail oriented.
Salary Range: $18.00 – $28.84
