Nurse Practitioner, Oncology | Full-Time, Permanent | Gering, Nebraska
We’re a well-established oncology team in western Nebraska, near Gering, looking to add an experienced nurse practitioner. You’ll care for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, plus several outreach clinics that bring cancer care to communities that would otherwise drive hours for it.
The practice
You’ll work directly with 4 physicians and 1 NP, on a team that puts medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgery, radiology, and pathology under one roof, supported by a medical physicist and experienced oncology nurses. The specialists you need are down the hall, and the mix of rounds, clinic, and outreach keeps every week varied.
Life in the Nebraska panhandle is an easy sell if you’re ready to leave traffic and coastal housing prices behind. You’re at the foot of Scotts Bluff National Monument, with the Wildcat Hills out your back door and Colorado and Wyoming minutes away. Denver is about three hours for flights, concerts, and pro sports. Housing costs a fraction of what it does in most metros, commutes run ten minutes, and the schools and neighborhoods are the kind where kids still ride bikes to practice.
