About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Lead General Dentist to join a well-established, multi-specialty dental practice in Flemington, New Jersey. This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week opportunity for a dentist with 5 years of clinical experience who is ready to take on a leadership role while continuing to provide high-quality patient care.
The practice is part of a long-established regional dental organization with multiple locations throughout New Jersey. Clinical & Leadership Responsibilities
The Lead Dentist will provide comprehensive general dentistry while serving as a clinical leader within the practice. Responsibilities include:
- Comprehensive examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Providing and overseeing high-quality general dental care
- Educating patients and families regarding treatment options and oral health
- Collaborating with the dental team on comprehensive treatment plans
- Mentoring and supporting other treating dentists
- Prescribing medications when appropriate
- Maintaining thorough documentation of diagnoses, treatments, medications, and consultations
- Helping maintain strong clinical standards throughout the practice
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Minimum 5 years of clinical dental experience required
- Active New Jersey Dental License
- CDS and DEA licenses
- Strong diagnostic and treatment-planning skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Desire to serve as the clinical leader of a busy multi-specialty practice
- Commitment to delivering excellent patient care
Compensation & Benefits
