Your mission
- Guard uptime on semi-automated assembly assets by executing smart preventive care and fast, thorough corrective repairs.
- Own diagnostics and restoration across pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, PLC logic, vibratory bowls, turntables, and robotic components.
- Elevate our processes: assess operating practices, records, and controls; help codify procedures that enable continuous improvement.
- Be the responsive partner production depends onclear updates, quick triage, and effective follow-through for cross-functional teams.
- Hard-stop hazards: report issues immediately and follow Lockout/Tagout every time you service equipment.
- Apply Lean methods to streamline workflows and boost productivity.
- Influence the future: participate in new machine design reviews, approval, and tryouts; assist with prototype product development.
- Flex your schedule with overtime as needed to support factory hours and project milestones.
- Tackle related tasks and projects beyond the routineyoure wired for problem-solving.
You will report to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager or designee and serve as a technical resource across production and supporting departments.
What it takes
- High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training adds an edge.
- 4 years in manufacturing environments with at least 2 years dedicated to plant maintenance.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair capability in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs.
- Confident communicator across functions; comfortable with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Forklift-trained and able to operate safely.
- Long periods of standing and sitting.
- Frequent walking, sometimes over long distances.
- Repetitive activities and lifting up to 40 lbs.
