What you’ll do
- Assemble and secure mechanical subassemblies; check each connection for correct fit before moving on.
- Label, package, and palletize completed products for shipment.
- Perform material handling and maintain accurate records in ERP (Epicor preferred) and on process paperwork.
- Keep your station audit-ready by practicing 5S: sweep floors, clean equipment, and remove stray parts.
- Track supply levels, anticipate needs, place/expedite replenishment orders, and verify receipts.
- Inspect work, support packaging, and complete production documentation.
- Share priorities, progress, and results with leadership; support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Pitch in on related duties and projects as the team requires.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Assembly team experience (1 year preferred).
- Basic computer skills for data entry; ERP familiarity (Epicor a plus).
- Clear, careful reading and math skills; can follow written and verbal instructions.
- Self-starter who also collaborates well with others.
Physical capability
- Lift up to 50 lbs; frequent bending/stooping.
- Walk long distances repeatedly; stand/walk 8 hours per day.
- Climb step stools/small ladders as needed.
- Perform repetitive fine-motor hand tasks.
