- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas).
- Excellent electrical and mechanical aptitude.
- Must be proficient in electrical/electronic schematic reading.
- Must be proficient in working with and hydraulic and pneumatic systems and reading hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
- Must possess good working knowledge with all levels of welding and cutting equipment required to perform industrial maintenance welding and fabrication.
- Must be able to recognize and avoid electrical hazards.
- Must be familiar with electrical PPE.
- Must have the skills to properly use voltage test equipment.
- Must have the skills to identify exposed energized electrical components and conductors.
- Must possess the decision-making ability to determine the level of hazard, proper PPE and job planning to safely perform the task.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal customers.
- Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks.
- Minimum of 2-year technical training program is required; Associate’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience working with 480/220/120 voltage is required.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing Haas, Dusan, and CNC equipment is preferred.
This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
