Job Function
- Train and supervise fabrication employees of the maintenance department.
- Ensure operational efficiency of all operating equipment in the shop.
- Implement safety in the workplace, policies and procedures.
- Produce high quality equipment in a timely matter.
- Ability to hire or terminate an employee.
- Oversee repairs and upkeep of all equipment in the shop.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Perform a quality inspection on all equipment fabricated and maintained in the shop
- Minimum experience 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Experience in mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Conducting site inspections and identifying areas requiring maintenance work.
- Managing several projects in a timely matter and completing on time.
