Lamar Community College (LCC) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and student-centered professional to join our team as the Concurrent Enrollment & Recruitment Coordinator. LCC is committed to delivering high-quality education and exceptional service in an environment rooted in care, support, mutual respect, and integrity.Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Management and Student Success, this role is responsible for coordinating LCC's concurrent enrollment and related programs while also supporting general student recruitment and outreach efforts. The position plays a vital role in building and maintaining strong partnerships with regional high schools, some state-wide recruitment, engaging prospective students, and promoting LCC through various outreach initiatives.Key responsibilities include student recruitment and advisement, coordinating enrollment processes and events, supporting high school partnerships, and contributing to the overall operations of the Student Services division. This position requires flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend hours, as well as regular travel for off-campus meetings and events.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Advise and assist high school students with the admissions and enrollment process for Concurrent Enrollment and related programs.Coordinate with high schools to ensure accurate enrollment and execution of concurrent enrollment contracts.Register students using established college systems and maintain accurate student records.Visit service area high schools to advise students, promote programs, and support enrollment activities.Partner with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies that increase awareness and participation in concurrent enrollment opportunities and post-high school enrollment.Represent LCC at high school visits, college fairs, and community events to promote the College and recruit prospective students.Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students through phone, email, text, and in-person meetings to support their journey from prospect to enrollment.Assist with budget management in accordance with college guidelines and fiscal procedures.Collect, analyze, and provide enrollment data; support billing processes for concurrent enrollment and related programs.Present updates and enrollment information to area superintendents; serve as a liaison to school counselors and administrators.Participate in state-wide concurrent enrollment and recruitment practitioner meetings to stay informed of best practices and compliance standards.Collaborate closely with Student Services team members to ensure efficient and supportive service delivery to schools and students.Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with high school students, parents, school staff, and community stakeholders.Provide required enrollment reports, including the October count report for ACSENT students.Distribute unofficial transcripts to high schools for students enrolled in ACSENT or other concurrent enrollment programs.Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and institutional goals.
