Colonial Life is looking for an aspiring entrepreneur who is highly motivated, professional and wants to make a difference in people’s lives. We work with C-Suite executives, HR managers, and small business owners to assist in expanding or enhancing the benefits package for their business and employees. As employee benefits consultants in a Business-to-Business setting, we share how the Colonial Life program helps reduce business costs, risks, and time to administer health benefits and protect employees.

What to expect:

  • You will run your own business
  • Work for yourself, but not by yourself.
  • No experience is needed
  • Assistance navigating process to obtain your Life & Health insurance license
  • The cost of study materials for the insurance exams will be covered for the right candidate.
  • After you obtain your license, we have a comprehensive training program that provides all the tools for success.
  • This position offers commission, bonuses and renewals
  • Average First-Year income: $70,000/yr
  • Top Performers can make $100,000 in their first year.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
  • Present products to prospective clients
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
  • Responding to complaints and resolving issues aiming at customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data

Requirements:

  • Willing and able to obtain a Life & Health Insurance license (company assisted)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Cell phone
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

This is an independent contractor opportunity in which you are in business for yourself but not by yourself. Any income range associated with this posting represents the potential pre-tax earnings of a business owner in this role, not a guaranteed salary or guaranteed earnings. All earnings in this role are sales results-based and uncapped, with tremendous potential for growth based on your business acumen.
