Requirements
Adequate experience as a mechanic and a demonstrated ability to diagnose trouble and make repairs to malfunctioning vehicles and equipment. Knowledge of methods and tools commonly used by mechanic in the repair and maintenance of automotive and diagnostic equipment. High School Diploma; Hold a valid PA Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with S and P Endorsements and L Endorsement lifted (Air Brakes) or willing to obtain; Hold a valid Class 7 PA Vehicle Inspection License. Physical Qualifications: Must be able to climb ladder and to work at a high elevation. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull a weight of 50 pounds, transport it 100 yards and lift it to shoulder height. Must be able to reach over the head to retrieve/store objects and/or crawl into confined spaces. Must be able to stoop and bend and operate equipment. Work effectively and harmoniously with all IU 20 personnel. Ability to understand oral and written directions.

Mechanic - Diesel & Gasoline to service School Buses at the Transportation Department located at Colonial Academy, Wind Gap, PA.
