Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Drive growth of SeaQuest at new customers within a defined geographical territory. Specifically:
- Build relationships with prospective customers: schedule introductory meetings, give presentations / demonstrations, understand their purchasing process and how to leverage it into SeaQuest trials and ultimately sales.
- Build relationships with the local DEP / DOH / EPA / Consultants to educate them on SeaQuest and then understand / do what it takes to gain their support.
- Actively participate in local trade associations: join committees, exhibit at shows, give technical presentations, etc…
- Support the service company in your region (as applicable) as the product expert.
- Work with the local Colonial Chemical Services sales team (as applicable) on joint opportunities / leveraging relationships.
- Document all activity in the AquaSmart CRM and comply with all reporting requirements of the business.
- Always follow all AquaSmart and customer safety procedures
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ownership mentality: must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Flexible: must be able to change priorities quickly based on the needs of the business and maintain a high level of performance and a positive attitude
- 5 Years of experience in the water treatment industry
- Technical degree
- Clean driving record
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to routinely work in the field inspecting chemical feed equipment / tanks / dosing systems / etc. as needed at a municipal water treatment facility.
