We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Colman Building Center in Colman, SD. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels to meet business demands, regularly monitoring stock levels and reordering materials as necessary from suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing accurate inventory levels to meet business demands. Regularly monitoring stock levels and reordering materials as necessary from suppliers.
- Coordinating and managing the loading and unloading of trucks. Ensuring that all shipments are correctly loaded for delivery, and tracking outgoing orders for timely completion.
- Ensuring the warehouse and yard are clean, organized, and safe. Enforcing safety procedures and ensuring staff are trained on proper equipment use.
A successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, including staff supervision. They must possess strong organizational and leadership skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and basic computer skills.
