Job Summary:
The PRN Pharmacist provides as-needed support to the Pharmacy Department, upholding the Mission, Vision, Values, and Code of Conduct of College Hospitals. This position is responsible for reviewing and verifying medication orders, ensuring accurate and safe medication dispensing, overseeing pharmacy technicians, and supporting daily pharmacy operations. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Shift Schedule:
Work two weekends per month from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Provide coverage for PTO and sick leave as needed and when available.

Qualifications:
- Current AZ Pharmacist License in good standing.
- 1 year minimum of experience.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy (PharmD or BSPharm).
- Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Close attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A Level One Fingerprint Card is required
- Review, verify, and dispense medication orders accurately and safely.
- Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians in medication preparation and distribution.
- Maintain proper medication inventory and storage conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and pharmacy regulations.
- Provide medication therapy consultations and support to healthcare staff and patients.
- Document interventions and maintain accurate records.
- Support daily pharmacy operations and staffing coverage as needed.
