College HUNKS Hauling Junk & Moving is hiring dependable, hardworking Movers & Junk Haulers to join our Madison team!
This is a hands-on, physical position for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team, and helping customers. Our crews handle residential and commercial moves, junk removal, loading and unloading, furniture moving, and other general labor.
We’re looking for people who show up on time, work hard, think on their feet, and stay until the job is finished. If you’re reliable and motivated, there is opportunity to grow into a Crew Supervisor/Team Lead position.
What You’ll Do:
- Move furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household or commercial items
- Perform junk removal and general labor
- Load and unload moving and junk-removal trucks safely and efficiently
- Safely drive box trucks and junk trucks — no CDL required
- Protect customers’ homes, businesses, furniture, and belongings
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers
- Work as part of a team to complete each job efficiently
- Problem-solve when unexpected situations come up on a job
- Make good decisions without needing constant supervision
- Maintain a positive attitude, even during long or physically demanding jobs
- Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
What We’re Looking For:
- Dependable — you show up on time and ready to work
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, walking, bending, and being active throughout your shift
- Willing to work until the scheduled jobs are completed; daily end times can vary
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow directions while also using good judgment
- Comfortable solving problems and making decisions in the field
- Responsible and respectful with company vehicles and customer property
- Able to safely drive a box truck/junk truck when assigned
- Moving, junk removal, delivery, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or other general labor experience is helpful, but not required
