About The Role

The Regional Operations Manager (ROM) is responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, and leadership development across multiple College H.U.N.K.S. corporate locations. This role ensures consistency in performance, culture, compliance, and customer experience while supporting General Managers and their teams to achieve division growth and margin targets. The ROM serves as a coach, strategist, and culture-carrier — reinforcing The H.U.N.K.S. Way while leading through data, systems, and accountability. This position is ideal for someone with proven multi-unit leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, people-driven, service-oriented business.

This Includes, But Is Not Limited To, The Following

  • Lead, coach, and support General Managers to ensure execution of The College H.U.N.K.S. Way across all assigned markets.
  • Oversee daily operational performance metrics, ensuring consistency in dispatch, scheduling, fleet, and safety compliance.
  • Conduct regular on-site business reviews and audits to monitor standards, systems, and adherence to brand compliance.
  • Implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Own divisional P&L performance, including weekly and monthly revenue, labor, and profitability reporting.
  • Partner with General Managers to analyze KPIs, identify trends, and develop improvement plans to hit revenue and EBITDA goals.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts in alignment with corporate growth targets.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop A-Player leaders through the Building Leaders model (MAWL).
  • Build a deep leadership bench by mentoring high-potential team members into future management roles.
  • Reinforce a Fun, Safe, and Winning culture in every market, aligned with our Core Values: Always Branding, Building Leaders, Listen, Fulfill & Delight, Fun Safe Winning Team.
  • Ensure all locations operate in full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and state moving tariff regulations.
  • Monitor fleet safety, claims management, and regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with HR and Legal as needed to ensure adherence to all employment and safety standards.
  • Support the launch of new corporate locations and assist with market readiness (staffing, training, fleet setup, and compliance).
  • Pilot new systems, programs, and best practices for future franchise rollout.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Recruiting, and Finance to achieve scalable growth.

Required Experience And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience.
  • 3 years of multi-unit operational leadership in a service, logistics, or franchise environment. Ideal experience would be managing $10 Million in Service-Based Business.
  • Proven record of driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence across multiple locations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen; confident interpreting P&L and KPI dashboards.
  • Experience in the moving, logistics, or field service industry strongly preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% between markets.
