Vice President, Digital Strategy
We're hiring a VP of Digital Strategy to own digital growth across the full investment lifecycle for Collateral Partners and our client base of 400 investment firms, asset managers, and the operating businesses they own.
This role sits at the intersection of PE-focused growth advisory and hands-on digital execution. You will lead marketing due diligence for sponsors evaluating acquisition targets, build and execute value creation programs for portfolio companies, and run the paid media, SEO, CRO, and CRM programs that connect digital strategy to commercial outcomes.
What You'll Own
- Marketing due diligence engagements: outside-in digital diagnostics, CAC forecasting, LTV modeling, and IC-ready findings for PE sponsors
- Growth blueprint development and full-funnel program execution for portfolio companies, from quick wins (1–2 months) to complete growth systems (6 months)
- Paid media across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google, including the Meta creative program end to end: concepting, briefing, scripting, UGC casting, post-production, and creative reporting
- SEO and CRO roadmaps tied to keyword intent, search demand, and conversion friction
- Weekly performance reporting with W/W and Y/Y trends versus plan, framed for CEO and COO audiences
- CRM activation, marketing automation, and analytics infrastructure
- A small implementation team (2–3 people) for media buying and creative execution
What We're Looking For
- 6 years in performance marketing, digital growth strategy, or growth-focused consulting
- Direct experience with PE sponsors, PE-backed companies, or sophisticated financial clients
- Full-funnel ownership across paid, SEO, CRO, and CRM
- The ability to frame a CAC trend as a unit economics problem and an SEO opportunity as an EBITDA lever
- C-suite delivery experience: you present to CEOs, COOs, and investment partners directly
- Dallas-based or willing to relocate. This role is on-site.
