Collateral Partners is more than tripling year over year. Six service verticals, 400 clients across the financial ecosystem, and a team of senior practitioners require a different kind of infrastructure as we scale. We are hiring a Chief of Staff to the Founder to build and own that infrastructure, and to extend the Founder's time and attention across the firm's most important priorities.
This is not a scheduling role. It is a senior operational and strategic seat at the center of everything the firm does.
What You'll Own
- The Founder's time and priorities: preparation, follow-through, and representation in conversations where full delegation is appropriate
- Firm-level operating systems: intake processes, delivery standards, internal communication, and the tools and templates that hold quality as the team scales
- Cross-practice coordination across all six service verticals
- Strategic projects without a natural owner: new service design, partnership development, pricing, and market expansion
- Business development support: prospect research, pitch preparation, pipeline tracking
- Hiring infrastructure: job descriptions, interview processes, candidate coordination, and onboarding
- Client-facing work at the senior level when the situation requires a capable, prepared presence
What We're Looking For
- 4 years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a senior operations role at a high-growth firm
- Exceptional writing: structured, precise, and senior-standard without revision
- Strong analytical ability: you structure problems clearly and build frameworks around them
- Operational instinct: you see what is missing and build it before being asked
- Finance fluency: you can follow a conversation about enterprise value, deal structure, or unit economics
- Discretion: client relationships, firm finances, and hiring decisions all pass through this role
- Dallas-based or willing to relocate. This role is on-site.
Compensation: Competitive base performance bonus
