Position Overview:

An established New York insurance defense firm is seeking a No-Fault Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This is a fully remote opportunity for an attorney with 1 year of relevant experience who is interested in building a career in New York insurance defense and No-Fault litigation.

Responsibilities:

·       Manage a caseload of New York No-Fault matters from inception through resolution.

·       Represent insurance carriers in No-Fault litigation and arbitration.

·       Review claim files, medical records, bills, and supporting documentation.

·       Research and apply New York No-Fault laws, regulations, and case law.

·       Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and legal correspondence.

·       Handle court conferences, hearings, arbitrations, and other proceedings.

·       Assist with depositions and discovery.

·       Evaluate claims and identify coverage and No-Fault defenses.

·       Negotiate settlements and pursue efficient resolutions.

·       Communicate with carriers, claims professionals, opposing counsel, and other parties.

·       Maintain accurate case files and billing records.

Qualifications:

·       J.D. from an accredited law school.

·       Admission to the New York State Bar required.

·       New York No-Fault experience strongly preferred.

·       No-Fault arbitration experience is a plus.

·       Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

·       Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines.

·       Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
