Job Title - GIS Analyst III 

Location - Berthoud, CO 80513 (Hybrid) 

Job Type - Full-Time 

Salary - 88K to 107K Per Annum

The Client is expanding its GIS capabilities to support infrastructure growth and reduce reliance on a single resource. This role will help strengthen the team and support increasing system and data needs. 

Mission: 
The GIS Analyst III will support and help manage the District’s GIS system, focusing on mapping and maintaining pipeline infrastructure, supporting field data collection, and ensuring accurate, reliable system data. This person will work closely with engineering, operations, and field teams to support both daily needs and long-term system improvements. 

Day to Day: 

Collabera is seeking to hire a senior GIS Analyst with strong utility infrastructure experience. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

• Maintain and support the District’s GIS system, including database management and system performance 

• Create and update GIS data based on construction drawings, field data, and GPS inputs 

• Support data collection efforts using GPS equipment and mobile GIS tools 

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and field teams to ensure data accuracy 

• Configure and maintain ArcGIS Online and related mapping services 

• Provide maps, reports, and data analysis to support District operations 

• Support system improvements, integrations, and vendor coordination 

• Train internal staff on GIS tools and data collection processes 

Must Haves: 

• 5 years of GIS experience supporting utility or pipeline infrastructure (water, electric, gas) 

• Strong experience with ArcGIS and managing/maintaining GIS systems or databases 

• Experience working with utility or underground assets (pipes, valves, hydrants) 

• Experience integrating CAD, GPS, and field/as-built data while supporting engineering and operations teams 

Plusses: 

• Experience in a water district, municipality, or public works environment 

• Experience with asset management systems (Cityworks or similar) 

• Experience supporting a small team or acting as a lead/sole GIS resource 

• Experience with data governance, standards, and GIS workflows 

• Experience supporting capital projects or infrastructure planning
