Work Arrangement
This is a full-time, fully onsite position based in Somerville, NJ.
Position Overview
- Our client firm is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with at least 2 years of experience to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing, and financial reconciliations.
- Experience with QuickBooks is required, while law firm accounting and LEAP software experience are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accounts payable expenses in QuickBooks.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and manage weekly check runs.
- Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections, including follow-up emails and correspondence.
- Process client payments and maintain accurate records in LEAP.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with general bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Law firm accounting and LEAP software experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
