Board Billing Specialist

Coleman Health Services a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs, is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist (Board Funding) to work effectively and collaboratively as a team, interacting with clients, external care providers, consulting psychiatrists, other clinicians, administrative and support staff related to board funded claims. This position is located in our Kent, Ohio, office.

Minimum Qualifications needed to be a successful Billing Specialist:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and general computer knowledge
• 1-2 years' experience in a financial environment or equivalent education
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid billing

Preferred Qualifications include at least 2 years. Experience in the following areas:

• Mental Health Board billing
• Medical insurance
• Mental health billing
• Guardianship billing
• Electronic billing for billing types
