Director of Crisis Support Responsibilities: The Director of Crisis Services oversees Coleman Health Services Crisis Services Program - a department which operates 24/7, serving people in need of mental health and recovery supports. We are seeking an energetic, experienced, organized, and independently licensed social service professional who will serve as part of our agency leadership team helping to move our organization forward as a successful Crisis Services provider as well as contributing to the business unit's crisis continuum within the community. As the Director of Crisis Services, you will supervise and train our Crisis support staff - responsible for responding to and following up with individuals in need of emotional support, suicide prevention and mental health safety planning.

Director Duties include:

• Triage, engagement, assessment, and trauma-informed behavioral health interventions to foster crisis resolution
• Service navigation and linkage, follow-up care, family and community stakeholder collaboration
• Work effectively and collaboratively as a part of an interdisciplinary team - interacting with clients, external care providers, consulting psychiatrist, other clinicians, and administrative and support staff
• Exercise balanced judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions, and to handle difficult and confrontational situations in a calm, consistent, and equitable manner

Director Qualifications:

• Master's degree along with LISW or LPCC licensure
• Must be eligible for an NPI number and an Ohio Medicaid number
• Minimum two (2) years' experience working in the behavioral healthcare field
• Must be willing to complete and have favorable results for criminal background check, drug/alcohol screening, and driving check if selected for the position

Preferred experience:

• Past or current work experience in an emergency room, community behavioral health or crisis intervention setting
• Past or current experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care
• Past or current experience developing new programs
