This is a DAY SHIFT position. (7AM-7:30PM)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Day Shift-Crisis Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing crises during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and crisis management, demonstrating the ability to assess and address the needs of clients effectively.
Duties:
- Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in distress, utilizing effective communication and de-escalation techniques.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of clients and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and case notes for each client interaction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques as needed to assist clients in managing their crises.
- Collect data on client interactions and outcomes to contribute to ongoing research and program development.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical counseling skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is REQUIRED. New graduates are welcome!
- Proven experience in crisis intervention, mental health counseling, or related fields, preferred but training will be provided!
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and addiction counseling is a plus.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development within the mental health field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,091.00 per year
