What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation and Delivery Associate position at Cole's Appliance?
A delivery/installation specialist at Cole's Appliance & Home Furnishings will travel to deliver and install major home appliances, furniture, and mattresses. You will be expected to install appliances and set up furniture and mattresses efficiently while maintaining a professional relationship with the customer. There will be occasional work in our warehouse which will include moving, opening, prepping, and assembling products.
Experience with delivery/installation is preferred but not required. Experience with water and/or gas is preferred but not required. A High school diploma/equivalent is preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be able to lift/move appliances, furniture, and mattresses.
This is a full-time position paid hourly, with many opportunities for bonuses and overtime. Upon completion of a training period and adequacy as a delivery/installation specialist, hourly rates will increase. $15.00 – $20.00 per hour. We offer health insurance and 401k options.
Cole's Appliance and Home Furnishings is a family-owned company that has been serving the area for 60 years! Our headquarters is located in Lincoln, MI. This position may occasionally be needed to work at our Tawas City, MI location. We offer flexible scheduling and a friendly work environment.
Cole's Appliance is located in beautiful Northeast Michigan, near Lake Huron and other smaller inland lakes. The area is perfect for hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. Northeast Michigan is an area with a reasonable cost of living.
