Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
- Follow designated routes for deliveries, making adjustments as necessary based on traffic or other conditions.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading goods.
Experience
- Previous experience in route driving or commercial driving is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving products.
- Experience operating moving equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
