Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport appliances to customer sites.
- Deliver appliances promptly while maintaining a high standard of care during handling and transportation.
- Install appliances accurately according to manufacturer specifications and schematics, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Read instructions to facilitate installation and repair tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine assembly of appliances, as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with installation process, natural gas install and equipment.
- Prior delivery driver experience using box trucks or similar vehicles; valid driver’s license required.
- Knowledge of field service operations with the ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and follow detailed installation instructions accurately.
- Physical capability to lift heavy appliances safely and work in various environments throughout the day. Pay: $225.00 - $250.00 per day
