Daytime Crew Member/Ice Cream Maker - Cold Stone Creamery (Lincoln, NE)

We are looking for bright, outgoing, personable crew member who want to work in a fun, fast-paced team environment! Keeping the store sparkling clean during slow times is a must to stay ahead of the rush! The right candidates will be able to connect with a wide range of customers and show a willingness to go the extra mile to provide exceptional experiences for every customer. We have a smooth-running team behind the counter, so you must work well with other people and always communicate in a positive manner with managers and co-workers. This is a part-time position. All cash and credit card tips for your shift are split between the crew weekly.

Please note: The primary focus of this weekday (Mon-Fri), daytime position will be making ice cream, building and decorating cakes, and making novelty ice cream products like cup cakes, cookies, and peanut butter cups. This can be a great opportunity for a parent looking for hours while their kids are at school.

Responsibilities

• Offer top-notch customer service in a fun and fast-paced environment always!
• Serve fresh ice cream creations, cakes, cupcakes, cookie sandwiches, waffles, etc. daily.
• Correctly follow ingredient/recipe cards when making ice cream creations – consistency is important to our customers!
• Use the Focus Point-of-Sale system to ring up customer orders.
• Assist with the preparation of food products daily – this includes making ice cream, building and decorating cakes, and making novelty ice cream products like cup cakes and cookies, etc.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, safe and secure store environment daily.
• Work day shifts and open the store per your pre-determined availability.

Compensation

• Starting pay $15.00 per hour plus Tips!
• Flexible scheduling – we know most our crew members have busy lives outside of work, so we try to be as flexible as possible.

Location & Commitments

• We’re located at 2910 Pine Lake Rd Suite P, Lincoln, NE 68516 (Southpointe Pavilions)
• Weekly hours can range from 10 hours to 25 hours depending on your availability
• We're currently looking for day hours starting as early as 9am or 10am and ending anywhere from 1pm to 5pm depending on the day and your availability (we can work with you on this)
• This is a year round position.

Candidate Requirements

• No prior food service experience necessary, but definitely a plus!
• A food handlers permit is required – if needed, we will help you through that process.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills – be outgoing and smile!
• The ability to work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
• A positive attitude is a must!
