Research Technician I - Yeh lab

A Research Technician position is available in Yeh Lab/CSHL Antibody Technologies Shared Resource. Qualified candidates interested in cancer biology, cell signaling, protein technologies and drug discovery are encouraged to apply. The Research Technician will be an integral part of a collaborative chemical biology and drug discovery team, employing various techniques including chemical synthesis, biochemical assays, protein production and chemical modifications etc. The position will also be responsible for general laboratory organization and maintenance. Mentored research training will be provided.

Education: A Bachelor's in chemistry or related discipline is required or Master's degree in organic chemistry is welcome.

Skills & Experience: The candidate needs to demonstrate good working ethic and personal skills working independently as well as within a team. Strong course experience and performance in bio-organic or organic chemistry is essential.
