Job Summary:

Elite Performance Filtration, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Filtration Manufacturing Laborer to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of hands-on tasks critical to the assembly, fabrication, and packaging of our high-quality filtration products. This role requires strict adherence to Elite Performance Filtration's safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules. The laborer will operate various manufacturing equipment, conduct essential quality checks, and actively contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assembly and Fabrication:

o Assemble filtration components according to Elite Performance Filtration's specifications and work instructions (e.g., pleating media).

o Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery such as pleaters, cutting machines, laminators, and other specialized equipment.

o Prepare and utilize potting molds for encapsulating filter media or components.

o Measure, cut, and prepare materials accurately for production.

· Quality Control:

o Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure products meet Elite Performance Filtration's design specifications and stringent quality standards, including inspecting potted components for voids, cracks, or improper adhesion.

o Identify and report any defects, malfunctions, or deviations from quality standards to the supervisor immediately.

o Assist in troubleshooting minor production issues as they arise.

· Material Handling and Logistics:

o Load and unload materials, components, and finished products efficiently.

o Transport materials within the production area using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other designated equipment.

o Ensure proper labeling and organization of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

o Package finished filtration products according to Elite Performance Filtration's packaging guidelines, including boxing, labeling, and preparing for shipment.

· Safety and Maintenance:

o Adhere strictly to all Elite Performance Filtration's safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), especially when handling chemical potting compounds.

o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, with particular attention to proper disposal of chemical waste and cleaning of potting equipment/molds.

o Perform routine basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment as instructed, including cleaning and preparing potting molds for reuse.

o Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly to ensure a secure working environment for all.

· Documentation and Communication:

o Complete production logs, quality control forms, and other required documentation accurately and legibly.

o Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

· General Duties:

o Maintain flexibility to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support overall production needs and company goals.

o Work effectively as part of a collaborative team to meet Elite Performance Filtration's production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, particularly in assembly, machine operation, casting, molding, or working with resins/adhesives. Experience with filtration products is a significant plus.
• Skills:
• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to understand and operate basic machinery and tools.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in following instructions and identifying quality issues of finished potted parts through inspection.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move moderate weight (e.g., 30-50 lbs regularly), bend, stoop, and reach.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively and positively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform simple measurements and calculations accurately.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and report basic production issues.
• Reliability: Punctual and consistent in attendance.
• Chemical Handling Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols when working with chemicals (e.g., resins, hardeners).

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing plant environment at Elite Performance Filtration, Inc.
• May be exposed to dust, noise, and various temperatures.
• May involve exposure to chemical fumes from potting compounds; proper ventilation and PPE are provided and required.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Use of appropriate PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, respirators if necessary, etc.) is mandatory at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
