Job Description:
Seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong GitLab expertise to support and enhance enterprise platforms. This role will focus primarily on GitLab while also maintaining Jira and Confluence. The ideal candidate will proactively drive improvements, implement automation, and advocate for broader adoption of GitLab across the organization.
Must Have Qualifications:
· Active Secret Clearance.
· Strong, hands-on GitLab administration and CI/CD experience.
· 3 years with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
· Proficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.).
· Skilled in Bash/Shell and Python for automation.
· Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
· Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s, EKS, Helm).
· Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical value.
· Prior federal government experience.
Nice to Haves:
· 5 years supporting enterprise applications or platforms.
· Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
· Experience migrating applications from on-premises to cloud environments.
· Proven track record of improving or optimizing platforms such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or Ansible.
