They install, troubleshoot, and maintain IT infrastructure while ensuring minimal downtime. The role involves direct customer interaction, incident resolution, and adherence to SLAs and safety standards. Key Responsibilities – • Provide onsite and remote support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and network devices • Diagnose and resolve incidents within defined SLAs, escalating when required • Perform break/fix, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), and preventive maintenance activities • Coordinate with remote support teams and vendors for complex issue resolution • Ensure compliance with security, safety, and customer policies while working onsite • Document incidents, resolutions, and asset updates accurately in ticketing systems Essential Skill required • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues • Hands on experience with desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and peripheral devices • Working knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking (LAN/WAN), and ITSM tools Ability to perform IMAC, break/fix, and onsite support activities independently Good communication and customer handling skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet SLA commitments • Awareness of security, safety, and compliance standards Education Qualifications required :- • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field *Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future* The Cognizant community: We are a high caliber team who appreciate and support one another.
