What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Engineer position at Cognify Global?
We are seeking a talented and motivated Control Systems Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms, to optimize automation processes and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial automation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop control strategies, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Develop and test control system logic, ensuring it meets client specifications and industry standards.
- Provide remote support for commissioning, startup, and ongoing maintenance of automation systems.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system architecture, logic diagrams, and user manuals.
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify and implement system improvements.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in industrial automation and control systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware, Ignition)
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
