We’re seeking a Lead Electrical & Controls Engineer to join a dynamic and growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll lead the design and execution of control systems across a variety of high-impact industrial projects.
What You’ll Do
- Lead electrical and controls design for multiple projects of varying complexity
- Develop engineering studies, system analyses, and detailed designs
- Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and project documentation
- Review design work, monitor progress, and communicate scope changes
- Direct CAD designers in developing construction drawings
- Interpret and apply industry codes and standards (NEC/NFPA)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and code officials
- Support field surveys and ensure design accuracy with existing conditions4
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- 7 years of controls experience
- Strong client communication and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Technical Expertise
- Design and programming of automation/control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA)
- Experience with Rockwell platforms (RSLogix, FactoryTalk) preferred
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, Profibus)
- Ability to design electrical systems, instrumentation, and control panels
- Familiarity with industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, pharma, or power
- Experience with Siemens, Wonderware, DeltaV, or similar platforms
- SCADA/SQL programming
- Knowledge of ISA standards, P&IDs, and safety systems
Tools & Software
- Rockwell Suite, Siemens PLC, or similar
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)

Salary : $120,000 - $190,000
