What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at COFFEE UP ROASTERY?
Coffee Up Roastery in Fullerton, CA is looking for a new barista to join our team. We are located on 1950 Sunny Crest Dr next to St. Jude Hospital. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, engaged, and a lover of all things coffee or tea!
Responsibilities
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and take food and drink orders
• Prepare and serve beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones
• Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches and pastries
• Answer customers’ questions about menu choices
• Promote and recommend menu options to customers
• Take payment from customers using our Clover POS
• Maintain inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and performing maintenance
• Keep the work environment sanitary and organized
• Evaluate and provide suggestions improve efficiency and quality of service
• Work to attract new customers and expand the menu
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a barista
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Experience with latte art is a plus!
Must be available Saturdays and Sundays.
