Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, beverages, and light food items with precision and care.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service to ensure a memorable visit.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures.
- Manage retail math tasks like cash reconciliation, register balancing, and inventory management to support smooth daily operations.
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking across various duties.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or café background is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation and food service routines.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions and cashiering.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper serving techniques within the food industry.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
