Coffee Shop Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Coffee Shop Manager to lead our vibrant coffee shop team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your leadership will drive the team to deliver high-quality food and beverage experiences while managing staff, inventory, and financial performance. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and efficient service
• Train, mentor, and develop team members in food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols
• Oversee food handling, kitchen management, and food production to uphold quality standards
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and perform cash handling duties with integrity
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the establishment
• Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and training sessions to foster a motivated team environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing hospitality teams, supervising staff, and overseeing kitchen operations
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
• Ability to manage inventory control
• Previous experience in hotel or restaurant management is highly desirable; barista or bar experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food industry standards including catering, banquet services, and food production processes
