Who We’re Looking For:
A Senior Genesys Developer to join our Client's team. This role requires an expert in Genesys technologies, particularly with experience in Intelligent Workload Distribution (iWD), Java-based integrations, Oracle database management, and system-level administration. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining, enhancing, and supporting the state’s on-premises Genesys environment.
This is a hybrid position (2 days onsite per week) and requires candidates who are local to Michigan or willing to relocate at their own expense. Remote-only candidates will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
Administer and support Genesys platform, including Config Server, Stat Server, T-Server, and Message Server.
Design, develop, and maintain Genesys iWD strategies, rules, workbins, and workflows.
Build and maintain routing strategies and API integrations using Java and JavaScript.
Configure and maintain Genesys Pulse dashboards and real-time reporting.
Integrate and manage email routing through Microsoft Graph API and design parsing rules for automated work item creation.
Design historical reporting using Genesys InfoMart and SAP BusinessObjects (BO).
Analyze and query Genesys data using Oracle SQL for troubleshooting and reporting purposes.
Monitor system health and performance using Genesys logs, ICON, Pulse, and other monitoring tools.
Configure File Server Capture for automated document ingestion and routing.
Provide root-cause analysis and tuning to ensure system stability and SLA adherence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define routing logic and optimize workload distribution.
Required Experience:
3–5 years of Genesys administration and iWD support
3–5 years of Java development for Genesys routing, APIs, and integrations
3–5 years of JavaScript experience for Genesys Workspace customizations and APIs
3–5 years of experience with Oracle Database, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of Genesys on-premises architecture (Config Server, Stat Server, URS, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Genesys Intelligent Workload Distribution (iWD) configuration
Strong grasp of routing rule design, SLA prioritization, and segmentation logic
Experience with Genesys Composer or Architect for multi-channel workflows
Familiarity with File Server Capture Interface and automated document classification
Proficient in Microsoft Graph API integration and OAuth2 authentication for email workflows
Skilled in Genesys Pulse for real-time metrics and dashboard customization
Reporting and analytics expertise using Genesys InfoMart and SAP BO
Ability to perform system troubleshooting and performance tuning
Strong collaboration and documentation skills
