Who We’re Looking For:
Our Client is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Full Stack Developer for a critical web modernization initiative. The successful candidate will work on enhancing ASP.NET MVC web applications using .NET 8, C#, and SQL Server, converting legacy mainframe applications to modern architectures. While primarily remote, occasional on-site work may be required in Madison WI.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications.
Conduct requirements analysis, technical design, development, and unit testing.
Implement high-quality, test-driven code following modern software development principles.
Participate in peer code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Develop and maintain clear technical documentation.
Provide production support and troubleshooting as needed.
Assist in modernizing legacy systems (mainframe/COBOL) into .NET-based web solutions.
Work independently and as part of a collaborative Agile development team.
Qualifications:
6 years of full-stack development experience
6 years of experience with ASP.NET MVC using C#
6 years of experience writing custom SQL (SQL Server)
6 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
6 years of responsive design using Bootstrap
6 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server & SQL client tools
6 years of experience performing requirements analysis
6 years of experience writing technical requirements and design documentation
6 years of experience with unit and smoke testing
6 years of experience with .NET application and web design patterns
6 years of experience with authentication and authorization techniques
5 years of experience with security threat prevention and response
6 years of experience with analytical/problem-solving and production support
6 years of experience documenting and communicating technical information clearly
6 years of experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
6 years of experience with project management principles
6 years of experience with dataflow and structure modeling
6 years of excellent written and verbal communication skills
4 years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing
Preferred:
5 years of experience with Git or Git-based source control systems
3 years of experience with TFS/Azure DevOps
3 years of experience with JIRA
3 years of experience with VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps
Familiarity with PowerShell scripting

Blazor Server
