Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex, high-availability Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate has in-depth expertise in multitenant Oracle databases, Oracle Advanced Security, PL/SQL, Linux, Oracle Data Guard, and GoldenGate. Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain logical and physical Oracle databases.
Administer multitenant Oracle database environments with high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
Manage and monitor Oracle Data Guard and other database Disaster Recovery systems.
Perform backup and recovery using RMAN.
Tune database performance and lead initiatives for continuous performance improvement.
Ensure security using Oracle Advanced Security features and manage access controls.
Conduct data modeling, performance benchmarking, and capacity planning.
Evaluate and integrate new data requests and provide technical assistance to internal teams.
Maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries and system configuration standards.
Coordinate database software installations, upgrades, and patches.
Monitor systems using database utilities and third-party tools to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and system administrators to ensure database integrity and performance.
Implement data governance and control redundancy.
Required Qualifications
5 years of hands-on experience with:
Multitenant Oracle database architecture
Oracle Advanced Security
PL/SQL
Linux/UNIX environments
Oracle Data Guard
Oracle GoldenGate
Strong experience with RMAN, backup and recovery procedures.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and tune complex Oracle environments.
Experience in database modeling, design, and implementation.
Clear understanding of database security best practices.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Oracle certifications (OCP/OCE) are a plus.
Experience with cloud database environments is advantageous.
