Our client is an Alternative Investment Fund currently seeking to add a talented Treasury Finance Associate to their growing Team. This position has recently been approved due to growth. Ideal individual must be well versed with Treasury operations, FX hedging, Cash Management and reviewing and preparing Fund Financials.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain daily cash position & short-term cash forecast models to measure global liquidity & identify potential cash shortfalls
- Prepare and post all journal entries and prepare monthly trial balance, balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flow reports.
- Assist with the identification and mitigation of foreign exchange risk
- Provide daily liquidity and asset/liability management updates to senior members
- Prepare daily net capital computation and daily P&L reporting
- Prepare the ALM Analysis and analyze the PnL for Balance Sheet Management and present to senior management
- Collaborate with CFO/Controller on preparation of firm reporting and intracompany reconciliation process
- Perform daily general ledger functions such as cash and trading account reconciliation
- Processed inter-company transfers, check issuance, positive pay & ACH monitor maintenance in the online banking portal
- Responsible for implementing efficiencies across all facets of middle-office operations and accounting areas.
Desired Skills and Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1 years of (Accounting/Audit/Tax) industry experience
- Prior experience with Tax Accounting/Reporting required
- Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
- Technical skills; Advanced Excel/VBA and Portfolio Accounting Software preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dead-line driven dynamic environment
- Innovative and creative thinker
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
