Our client is a Global Hedge and Quant Fund (Family Office) that has been in High Growth and are currently seeking a Tax Manager level professional to add to their Family Office team. This professional will help the Head of Tax build out the internal Tax function.
They will report to Head of Tax, working with Partners of firm directly to provide assistance with Tax Compliance, Forecasting, Tax Planning and Advisory related matters. This is a newly created role, working with Executives whom have drove growth.
Job description/Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage all aspects of Tax Reporting including returns, estimates, planning, projections, and tax forecasting
- Monitor legislative changes in tax laws that may impact the Firm Partners tax positions
- Advise C-Suite and Executive Team on the tax implications of their business objectives, evaluating and selecting alternative actions to lessen tax burden
Requirements
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Tax or Accounting; CPA or MST (preferred)
- 5 years of Individual Taxation, preferably from Financial Services Industry
- Hight Net Worth Individuals, Trusts, Partnership Tax Compliance and reporting experience is preferred
