We're working with a High-Growth Consumer and Distribution Services Firm. They are seeking a Strategically driven professional within their Controllership team. Will be responsible for all Accounting and Financial Operations - Month-End, Reporting, Budgeting, Analysis, Supporting Audit, Finance, and Tax Teams. Reporting to Controller - Head of Team, this professional will be working with Executives, COO, and Sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, P&L for Month/Quarter/Year-End accounting close and financial reports
- Responsible for Revenue, Margins and Cost tracking metrics discussed with stakeholders across the business
- Owner of cash management function including forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variances.
- Review customer invoicing processes and contractual agreements to reconcile revenue.
- Perform key elements of the financial cycle and supporting subsidiary processes.
- Manage detailed variance and fluctuation analyses.
- Assist FP&A with accounting interpretations for budgeted transactions
- Supervises accounting staff.
- Assists in the annual audit.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must, CPA preferred.
- 5 years accounting experience out of Public Accounting or Private Accounting team is a plus
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Revenue Recognition is needed
- In depth experience working with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and doing detailed account analyses.
