Coda Search is partnering with a prominent vencture capital group with offices located in Stamford, CT. This is a well-known firm that has a global presence with just under $10BN AUM. The team is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant on the corporate accounting team who will be responsible for managing the month-end close, GL, and assisting the wider team with cash management activities.
The team has great tenure across the group and has been known to promote people from within. The role gets great exposure across the group and has the opportunity to work with both domestic and international stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end close overseeing various items on the balance sheet and income statement
- Manage the GL and reconcile any discrepancies
- Prepare schedules and oversee various investments
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the US operations
- Partner with the wider group overseeing various cash management activities
- Assist with the annual audit preparing any supporting documentation and schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- Strong Excel skills (vlookups/pivot tables)
- Strong US GAAP experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Prior experience in Financial Services a plus
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
