We are currently partnered with a ~$950B AUM alternative asset manager looking to make a manager level addition to their global treasury team focusing on treasury operations and analytics. This is a high visibility role with exposure to all aspects of the business including private equity, real estate, credit, and renewables.
The firm is seeking an entrepreneurial and technically skilled professional to manage the systems and operations that support the financial risk management function. This is a broad, hybrid role that blends Treasury Operations with Data Analytics. The successful candidate will not only manage trade lifecycles but will also drive the build-out of data visualization, trade cost analysis, and process optimization infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Analytics: Maintain and enhance in-house reporting, data visualization, and trading cost analysis systems (utilizing PowerBI and Azure) for a massive global portfolio of FX and interest rate derivatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion the optimization of trading and treasury management systems, identifying new ways to streamline processes.
- Business-IT Liaison: Partner with the trading desk to understand complex business requirements and effectively translate them into technical specifications for IT teams.
- Operations Management: Oversee the full trade lifecycle, including booking, reporting, and managing post-trade matters (confirmations, settlements, and KYC/ISDA inquiries) with banking partners and internal finance teams.
- Risk & Compliance: Monitor global risk positions and counterparty exposure limits to ensure strict adherence to firm policy.
- Special Projects: execute ad-hoc projects related to internal capital markets and treasury operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related major (Strong GPA required).
- Experience: 4–8 years of experience within a bank, asset manager, hedge advisory firm, or hedge fund.
- Functional Expertise: Proven exposure to FX / Interest Rate derivative operations, risk reporting, and trade lifecycles.
Technical Stack:
- Proficiency in Bloomberg and trading platforms (FXGO, FXall, 360t).
- Strong skills in Excel and data analytics tools (Power BI, Azure, Tableau, SQL, Python).
- Plus: Experience with FIS Quantum.
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
