Financial Controller (Senior Controller) @ High Growth PE Firm

A Boutique High-Growth Private Equity Firm is looking to hire a Controller, this role will report to CFO working with their Fund Finance, Tax, and IR Teams.

Will be responsible for management company reporting, portfolio company reporting and metrics, treasury, insurance and other duties. This professional with be instrumental in the growth of the firms financial operations. Lead and Driving Financials cycle, including but not limited to General ledger, Month-end and year-end and various accounting statements along with budgeting and forecasting financial reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and rollout standardized operating workflows, governance frameworks, and policies to replace prior processes
• Own the monthly close, intercompany accounting, and leadership reporting packages with a focus on automation and accuracy.
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and variance analysis to drive executive decision-making.
• Manage annual audits, enhance internal controls, and oversee management agreements and transfer pricing.
• Act as the "owner" for finance systems (NetSuite preferred), optimizing the ERP for long-term leverage.
• Oversee banking relationships, firm-wide cash positions, cash management and treasury activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• 15 years of Accounting experience including Financial Statements, Balance Sheet, Income Statement
• Must have bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master's and CPA a plus
• Strong in GAAP
• Management of Team
• ERP Software: Netsuite, Sage, or Dynamics
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently most of the time
• MS Office proficiency--especially with Excel
• Problem solver with attention to detail

Our client is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary and discretionary performance bonus, including benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is 220,000 - 250,000 plus bonus.
