Overview:
Our client is seeking a hands-on, experienced HR Generalist to support a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational settings, is comfortable navigating complex employee relations issues, and can step in as a strong partner to managers who may need guidance around accountability and performance management.
This is a highly visible, “roll-up-your-sleeves” position for someone who is proactive, solutions-oriented, and confident leading difficult conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Partner with managers to drive accountability and improve team performance
- Own and manage leave administration, including FMLA and other leave programs
- Oversee high-volume onboarding and ensure a smooth new hire experience
- Guide managers through disciplinary actions and performance conversations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies
- Support fit-for-duty evaluations and return-to-work processes
- Act as a trusted HR partner across the organization in a fast-moving environment
What We’re Looking For:
- 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong background in:
- Employee Relations (heavy focus)
- FMLA / Leave Management
- Performance Management
- Experience in fast-paced environments (e.g., hospitality, manufacturing, logistics, high-volume operations)
- Proven ability to work with and coach managers who need support driving accountability
- Hands-on, proactive mindset—someone who is a true “doer”
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
